The Parts Advisor is a crucial component of our operation, ensuring the seamless flow of parts-related activities from handling customer enquiries and inventory management through to delivery.
This role is pivotal in enhancing our customer satisfaction levels and streamlining the servicing process of high-performance vehicles.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with their parts inquiries, orders, and concerns.
- Utilize product knowledge to accurately identify and locate the required automotive parts.
- Process parts orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to meet customer and internal service needs.
- Maintain an organized and well-managed parts inventory, including restocking and conducting regular stock checks.
- Work closely with service technicians and other departments to understand parts requirements for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of parts and negotiate favorable terms.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers and internal staff regarding parts selection and compatibility.
- Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, orders, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the sales team to assist in selling parts and accessories, providing product information and pricing details.
- Educate customers on the proper use, maintenance, and care of purchased parts.
- Address and resolve any issues related to incorrect orders, damaged parts, or customer concerns.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training is a plus.
- Previous experience in automotive parts or a related field is advantageous.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using parts cataloging and inventory management software.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and parts.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented and accurate in processing orders and maintaining records.
